GMD INTER SCHOOL SPORT

On Thursday 7 March, 350 Year 9-12 students represented Notre Dame College in a variety of sports:

Super 8’s, Table Tennis, Tennis, Volleyball and Lawn Bowls - at the GMD Inter School Sport Carnivals.

It was a successful and fun-filled day for all. The following teams won their respective Sport/Age Group Carnival and progress through to the Hume Region Carnivals which are held over the coming months:

Hume Cricket Senior Boys and Girls

On Wednesday 6 March our Senior Boys and Girls cricket teams competed at the Hume Region carnival held in Wangaratta. It was a successful day, with both our Boys and Girls teams winning their Grand Finals. The teams now progress through to the State Quarter Finals, which will be held in Shepparton on 18 March.

The scores were as follows:

Girls: NDC 149 defeated Tallangatta 51

Boys: Round 1: NDC 146 defeated Tallangatta 107

Final: NDC 82 defeated FCJ Benalla 70
